Inspired Design: Friends | Monica’s Bathroom

Like any red blooded American woman, Friends holds a special place in my heart. The show delivered season after season and has been the source of endless one liners. Monica’s apartment (okay, technically she subleased) has such a unique aesthetic. The bathroom is no exception. The black and white tile floor, pedestal sink, and pedestal tub provide a classic feel. The merlot/ berry paint, flower motif shower curtain, and gold framed painting add a bit of personality to the space. Do you have a favorite room in Friends? Let me know in the comments below! ~Maggie

Their patio deck dining and lounge furniture are mainly wood, with some…

Watching The Dick Van Dyke Show has become something of a nighttime ritual. I have always had a fondness for classic shows, it elicits a sense of nostalgia for a time I never actually lived through. The Petrie Family lived in a ranch style home on 148 Bonnie Meadow Road in New Rochelle, New York. Although the street number is fictional, the show’s creator Carl Reiner did grow up at the address in New Rochelle. In honor of the show’s historic value, the New Rochelle City Council unanimously agreed to rename the street Dick Van Dyke Show Way according to this report late last year. Despite the…
